we were already in this chateau and really wanted back as it was so good. the chateau itself is still a very impressive place. we had a room with a terrace overlooking the river, which was beautiful and great to sit out and enjoy a drink. They can pay an additional fee to be served the breakfast on their private terrace, but last time we were there we had an excellent breakfast on the main terrace looking for the river and it was without doubt the best breakfast we had on the whole trip. what a disappointment this time. the breakfast was served in the dining room with the terrace shut off! it was like an average hotelbuffet with none of the magie of our previous visit, so abandoned. long exciting journey from carcassone to gorge du tarn. 2 hours drive, but nice. 8 hairpin turns into a ****. narrow, but spectacular journey along the river below the ****. ardent! then saw the castle built in 1490 on the best place in the shlucht. through the river. we couldn't believe it. beautiful mini lock with gardens in one of the most beautiful sights in the world. we were in jaquette Juinio Suite for 185 e, more than we have paid for most hotels, but a total promise for this location. view of the river. we sat on the veranda and drank, walked and used pool and spa by the river. the eating was superb also with view of the ****. tipp, make a reservation for table after window. 4 stars...
Très belle découverte pour une cuisine d'exception ! Petit havre de paix, ce château a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un week-end tranquille. Les falaises des Gorges du Tarn lui donnent un véritable éclat et l'eau est parfaite pour la baignade. À moins que l'on préfère la piscine ou le jacuzzi. L'accueil du personnel est remarquable et le nouveau chef depuis 2-3 ans nous surprend à chaque saison ! À ne pas manquer pour un week-end ou un dîner.
Great place, perfectly positioned fairytale castle with view down the Gorges du Tarn. Good food and our wine choice (white Montus 2011) turned out excellent. Only issues were very slightly casual service, and the facilities down a spiral staircase (we had elderly relatives with us)....But a very memorable meal.

Endroit exceptionnel, la vie de Château avec tout le confort moderne, le tout au milieu d'un cadre verdoyant magnifique et sauvage. Service chaleureux et très bon. Idéal pour se détendre et profiter pleinement de cette belle région.
Une découverte incroyable est un véritable plaisir de revenir, une équipe jeune et pleine d'espoir en résumé, c'était une saison complète de rires que j'embrasse tous!
