We could no longer wait to eat on our journey between Frankfurt and Gottingen. The hotel was a bit scary: there were no cars to talk from the front, someone at the reception and one in the (empty) dining room. I'm not sure why it was empty, but we were brave and sat for our first German meal and tried to navigate a menu from the Tourist-Beaten-Pfad. It turned out surprisingly well. The carving was well executed, the proportion of children about 1/2 of an adult. The salmon with dill sauce was delicious. The viola was also pretty good. This could not be gourmet, but it is worth the additional kilometers from the highway to avoid the chain restaurants.

We wanted to drink a beer after our arrival in Kirchheim, but unfortunately we were kindly expelled from the house. Reasons for lack of personnel. 2 pin beer and take 10€ within 5 minutes, where would be the problem. You can't explain that!!!With a lack of staff, especially since it wasn't even evening time.
During the trip from France with the family pampered and stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant. The menu had classic German meals, carvings etc. The food was good and in generous portions. The service was fast and polite and prices... okay. Réservez une table maintenant
