Hotel Restaurant Hohenzollern

The hotel is located on a hill above a small town but is on a vineyard. The rooms are nice and efficient. The restaurant is magnificent and we had an exceptional meal. My husband had the 3-course meal which started with an amuse-bouche of asparagus panacota. The panacota was perfectly executed. I was quite impressed and was looking forward to the next couse. 2nd course was a fish over asparagus also delicious then came the palate cleanser a cucumber sorbet ... wow I could eat that everyday! Am 05.08.2017 haben wir (ein Paar) ein gemütliches "Speisen" im Hohenzollernangedacht. Angekommen wurden wir von einem AZUBI begrüßt und zu einemTisch geführt. Der Tisch war eingedeckt. Es wurde daraufhin abgedeckt und wir wurdennach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Sodann erhielten wir Getränkekarte und Speisekarte.Nachdem wir ausgesucht hatten erschien eine "sehr genervte" Dame (Geschäftsführerin) und erklärte uns, dass das Restaurant ausgebucht ist und wirnicht speisen können.Etwas konsterniert fragten wir nach, ob diese Reservierung innerhalb der letzten Minuten geschehen ist, ansonsten hätten wir dieses Restaurant sofortwieder verlassen.Fazit:Das Verhalten des Personals ungenügend.Das Verhalte...

Restaurant and presentation were super, servings for the more demanding higher prices were really too small at the main courses, quality excellent! A huge wine card with top wines, is noble and high quality but rather old school, very nice staff, very good recommendations. From the establishment of the hotel rooms we were somewhat disappointed as this has already come very into the years, old stained outware, room furnishings 20 to 30 years old. It smelled like smoke in the room though actually non-smoking?! Toilet has been refurbished and is more modern. Plenty of parking if arriving by car. Near the city but out of the city where it’s very quiet. Right next to the hiking and biking trail. Restaurant is amazing! Lovely breakfast. Heads up to Americans, no air conditioning.

Dining in this restaurant gives the outlook over the mountains an extra dimension. Food quality is good. Service very friendly. THere is a very large choice of wine by the glass. Prices are O.K.
