We ate dinner in the hotel while we were guests there. Since it was a week night during the offseason, there were few diners; however, those who came stayed for a while and enjoyed the surroundings and excellent food. Although some were tourists like us, one large group seemed to be locals who knew where to go for a good meal. There were four main offerings. We had pork and chicken, both beautifully presented and delicious. I don't particularly enjoy desserts, but the poached pear was a perfect ending to the meal. An added bonus was the beautiful, yet simple, dining room.
The tables were set out in a courtyard behind the hotel with several large trees giving it a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive and knowledgable and the menu was classical French with some great modern ingredients added. The sturgeon and pate appetizer was amazing and the poached pear with strawberries and blackberries is a must. Great food, great ambience, great staff. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and somewhere we will definitely be going back to.
Nous avons passé une soirée très agréable en dînant sur la terrasse. L'hôtel et le restaurant sont sous nouvelle direction... un charmant couple de Belgique. Nous avons commencé avec un rafraîchissant negroni; une salade de chèvre en entrée, suivie d'un tournedos de bœuf servi avec des pommes de terre... le dessert était une glace à la vanille avec sauce au chocolat. Nous avons hâte de revenir.

This is a very interesting hotel in a fascinating town. It is built into a limestone cliff, and the cliff intrudes into the hallways of the third floor. It has intriguing antiques and a display of stone age tools. The rooms are small - typical of France - but comfortable.
Charming terrace and great food from a really talented chef. This restaurant would earn high marks in Paris. Command of classic techniques but with a great lightness of touch and thoughtful use of the best of local resources.
Menu fixe avec 3 ou 4 plats différents chacun. Cuisine fusion : cuisine française avec une touche belge. D'excellents vins accompagnant les spécialités locales comme le canard...
Je pense que la pâté de foie est la meilleure ici, après avoir essayé cinq ou six autres endroits dans le village. La qualité de la nourriture est comme à l'hôtel ; excellente.
