We had dinner here. The grounds are lovely, the buildings beautiful and the history engaging. There are two restaurants in one space, Le Table du Louis and La Tour Carree. Clearly their goal is to be a destination dining experience, but the service and menu, while pleasant, come up a bit short of might be expected. If I was getting married in the area I would think it could be an excellent event venue. My guess is that they are struggling to support such a large property and develop the business before they run into trouble. It's a tough thing to do.Go for the charming ambiance. The eponymous rack of lamb seems to be their strength. Nothing was bad, just not exceptional. Service was fine, but again, not outstanding, on the evening we were there. Prices were reasonable which made it all fine. The Chateau is located in a sort of miracle mile neighborhood, but once you get on the grounds it's lovely.
