Very nice authentic Italian...this is in fact what the owner of the hotel told us where we stayed when we asked whether they could advise us on any restaurants in the area. Indeed it is true, very nice food and friendly waiters-even the cook came visiting the guests asking whether everything is to the liking, in many other places they probably don't dare doing this.... Nice touch: the owner reminded us to switch of GSM since they did not want to have that...a good idea many other places might adopt indeed...
It was a nice evening. On the side table there was a firefighting team that sang their club songs. We wanted to resist our singing... They told the team that it had fun to advise us in the selection of food and drinks. What came to the table was a culinary and visual pleasure. Various carpaccios as an appetizer, of which the OKtopus Carpaccio was the absolute hightlight for us. The recommended wines were excellent for each dish. We had to take a photo of the specially created fish plate...
If you want an Italian Dinner? This is the place! Italian cooks, italian tender, lovely italian waitress, charming italian waiters.. The smell, the odor, the athmosphere... better than in italy! Wonderful wine, delicious diner, in short: dinner here is an event that we by heart, recommend. And not particulary expensive, wonderful experience for resonable price. Our favourite restaurant! Looks very good portions are really large I had the mixed Italian starter but most of the meat was cold and about half would have been good for a starter Followed with a steak that I wanted medium rare but came as done to well done Friendly staff and no other restaurants open made this my choice
