When we went for lunch for the first time, the Italian waiter was really friendly and helpful and found toys for our 14-month grandson. The food was good and cheap as the drinks. He let us park the deck chair in the lobby while we drive up the ski lift for a drink. On the back of this visit we went back later in the week, but it was another waiter. He didn't let us sit on the same table if he got a bigger party. We were 6. He calmed and said we could sit there, but if a bigger party arrived, he would have to move. I didn't want the sword of Damoclese hanging over our heads, we pulled there and then to another table. Another party arrived. There were four. They sat where we were and went far...

I've eaten in the restaurant several times when skiing in St Anton as the location is convenient, but found the service to be a little on the rude side. But the last time I ate there will indeed be the last time I ever go...in there. The service was the rudest I have ever experienced anywhere, ever. I was with a group of adults with a couple of babies so all together, ready to spend a reasonable amount of money for lunch. The waiter said he only had time to serve us soup! He then proceeded to slam our drinks on the table and throw our ski gloves and helmets around, with a miserable attitude throughout. We clearly weren't going to give him a tip but he argued about giving change to one of our...

After a very poor experience at the more upmarket Hotel Post where we left because we werent served after 30 mins we headed further up the road by now incredibly hungry and thirsty, in search of somewhere to eat lunch. We came across this hotel which had a spare table outside in the sun. Its not as glitzy/ glamerous as some of the other cafes/ restaurants but we didnt really care at that point. The barman was friendly and welcoming, the menu whilst not vast was appealing and the service was fast. We ordered a couple of drinks and a couple of toasted sandwhich snacks. They came quickly and were very tasty. The pricing was also a bit less overpriced than some of the other eateries in the area....

We ate here one lunchtime on a ski trip to St Anton. We both ordered Spaghetti Bolognese, which we had a couple of times for lunch as it offers a hearty meal when skiing all day and Hotel Sailer's effort was the tastiest of the week. The food came out quickly and at under €10 each, it was good value. You can either sit in the restaurant or bar but it's worth noting that smoking is allowed in the bar.

The people who gather here formerly populated the old Bahnhof. Many old timers from all over the world who drink and catch up. I love the place and agree that the Bolognese is as good as it gets.Drinking the vin rouge, eating the Bolognese and telling stories with old ski friends. It gets no better.

Cafe Sailer used to be the place to go for apres ski in St Anton. We dropped in for a quick lunch on a bad weather day. We didn't stay to eat as the gent on the table next to us lit up a foul cigar and wafted it our way. I had to go to the bar to pay for the drinks, the waiter didn't seem to care.

Midway through our brunch, the Sailer Cafe decided it could no longer accommodate the bags of the only 2 people in a 30 person sitting area. Leave your bags in your hotel we were advised. We recommend you find a friendlier location as we did.

Located between the bottom of the Gondola in St Anton and the bus station, this is a perfect place to stop for a drink before we return to the bus, we only have chips, but the food looked good

Extremely unfriendly and somewhat disgusting, although we bought something they wanted us to go. Not recommended
