we have eaten here in the garden in the open day. it was simply beautiful with flowers everywhere, fountains and a free view of the Rhine. is located below the linden directly on the KD-Anleger at the stop assmannshausen and is easy to reach to foot. the restaurant offers the johannisberger riesling wines that are absolutely delicious. we were so tired of waiting for our food for an hour that we decided to just pay our drinks and go. every time we asked the waiter how long it would take, he said it would only take a few minutes. the owner and the waiter then insisted that he had told us that it would take an hour what he had not done. no discount or a free drink was offered. we live in Germany and speak both fluently German, so it was not a language problem, but unfortunately only a terrible service. the hotel looked so desirable and the hired were beautifully dressed. we ate at lunch and were not disappointed. after our excellent lunch we drank our drinks and watched the boats and last-creams of the Rhine up and down. the open area is under a soon-to-be-weep in, so that if necessary there is always shadow. they are surrounded by cultivated flowerbeds and flower ampoules. beautiful place.
this hotel is located in assmannshausen opposite the ferryman of the KD ship. we have enjoyed a really good dinner in the garden with wonderful views over the Rhine. the food was excellent, the selection good and the service top-class. the wine was worth a second glass. a good place.
