They give small portions,Its expensive. And very poor flavour in many of the currys, like water almost. When I was there I arrived 20mins before closing ,I was trying to eat my small portion meal, when the manager comes over,an older man with glasses, and says we are about to close in an unfriendly rude manner.I still left before the close time also but felt rushed.I mean I just spent $20 and the guy can't even give me a few moments to finish my meal in peace?I guess not.I know if I ran a restaurant I would value my customers and even wait an extra 20 mins or so after closing or a reasonable time, just to be nice and hospitable to them and show I value them eating at my establishment.you don't get...

Hothi's has been an Epping staple since the 1990s, and there's good reason for its popularity. Its simple range of delicious home-style Indian dishes is a winner. Just walk into the shop and smell the fresh spices. I always over-order here. Lucky that Indian food makes for great left-overs! It's hard to go past their freshly-baked naan breads, ruby chicken tikka and vegetable samosas for starters. Curries are full-flavoured and well-balanced; if you like hot, try one of their Vindaloos. A plain or mango lassi will help put the fire out.Expect the standard Indian desserts: kulfi and gulab jaman... both very nice. This is not designed to be a sit-down restaurant. There are tables, but don't com...
Hothi's is a firm favourite for a takeaway curry. There is a good selection of popular Indian dishes such as beef vindaloo, butter chicken, rogan josh palak paneer and several vegetable curries. Portions are generous and Well priced between $11 and $15 for a large container. The Basmati rice is fluffy, the samosas delicious and the naan just the thing to scoop up the sauce. Eating in is an option and the thalis would make a satisfying lunch. A great local takeaway.
We had a takeaway from there this week. Had Chicken and lamb and veggie dishes. all were nice. Was a saturday night when we went there and there were no people sitting at the tables in the restaurant so suspect they are mainly takeaway. Friendly service. Didn't take long. Food was good. We had CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA, LAMB SAAG, and VEGE KORMA. All were mild but very nice flavours. Réservez une table maintenant
Value, hospitality and quick! This place is run by an Indian family (they may have relatives hanging around if you come late). Food is full of flavors and wallet friendly. Not a bad place if you want some Indian food after work or study. Interior is on the “simple” side. Xihuahua hates Indian food so no way she is coming here
Located opposite to the Epping station, this small takeaway place is ideal foe commuters to pick up their dinner for the evening. There is a dining area too but the takeaway here is more popular. The fluffy naans, spicy curries and rice are good. I loved the chicken vindaloo and potato-eggplant curries.
Great curries of India, same consistency and same owner and family. Good samosas and paratha and perfectly cooked rice. Small eat in area with water serviettes and proper cutlery provided, prompt service and has stood the test of time on the Beecroft road array of changing eteries.
If you’re looking for a meal that’s pocket friendly and yum at the same time this is the place. Prices are very reasonable and this does not affect the quality of food at all! Ordered Tandoori chicken which was so succulent and tender and the Chole Bhature was great! Réservez une table maintenant
Excellent food and friendly service. Very affordable and great for vegetarians. I love the samosas. The Thalis are great value for money. My favourite is the eggplant curry and also the cheese naan!
