It was the most bizarre experience dining here. First when we arrived in the restaurant, our group set up was that there was someone on each end who was sitting facing an empty chair on the other side of the table. Upon enquiry we understood it was a covid measure, however never had any other restaurants requesting such seating arrangements in the past 20 months. We ordered two split pots, a non-spicy broth for one side of the pot and a spicy broth for the other side. The staff came to confirm that we wanted spicy/non-spicy in each pot. Yes, we said. To our shock when the pots came, one pot was spicy/spicy on both side, and the other was non-spicy/non-spicy on both sides. This was after the...
pure joy! this is my first visit in a time (about 3 years) and I think the hotpot spot has much better. I really enjoyed the suppening and the quality of the meat and the sweet has improved, defines a beautiful tasty to do one for themselves or a large group of meal. I get the bark slices (I'm not a fan of bark meat, but I really liked it) and the garnel was really nice and bouncy! I had some Chinese cauliflowers and kartoffels, which was really nice in the broth, very refreshing. I also propose not to get too many starchy articles, otherwise they will be very quickly full! (I finally got noodles, tofu and kartoffels, and I think I would probably have ordered only one of those as I had eaten...
Ate here for the first time tonight and it was our one year anniversary! It was a fabulous evening with brilliant food! My girlfriend is veggie and it was really good to be able to have two separate broths and such a range of tofus and veg! We loved the hands on aspect of it it was a very fun date and the food was delicious the perfect hangover cure! The waitress was so lovely, explained everything really well and was super chatty! We loved the little touches for our anniversary made it extra special and was so thoughtful of you guys! We will definitely be back next time we are in Cardiff! Amazing!! We tried this place for the first time last week and it was so good that I need to go back asap. Everything was well explained and the broths were the tastiest. You can choose fish, veg or meat platters and then some extras. Everything cooks so well in the broths. Staff were really friendly and so caring. When we left, they gave us some Chinese sweet treats as a thanks. Will go back in a heartbeat. Réservez une table maintenant
This hidden gem is absolutely amazing. Authentic and the staff were amazing from start to finish. Everything was explained really well the chef came out to check if we wanted more broths. Everything tasted great well priced and alot of options They couldn't have been more helpful. A really lovely experience and we will deffinatly be back. Only recommendation would be to have more sauces at the sauce bar
the food was really delicious and the staff were lovely!! tonnes of vegetarian and vegan options and the spice levels are adjustable. they play a great selection of cpop and kpop! we mentioned in our reservation that it was our anniversary and they accommodated us with a quiet table and were really lovely for our special day. definitely recommend to anyone and will be coming again :
Amazing birthday meal. The team made us feel really welcome and explained the concept to us. We chose two broth bases, a platter of meat, noodles and veggies to cook at the table and some super fluffy bao buns too. Everything was really flavourful and delicious. Couldn't recommend Hot Pot highly enough! We were served by truly lovely staff members that patiently explained how everything worked and we were made to feel right at home. Put food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. I was even offered a phone charger for our table! Top quality resteraunt and a real gem Réservez une table maintenant
Had the best evening for my daughters 16th birthday. The staff are just lovely, kind, helpful and friendly. The food was great, such a unique and different dining experience and great fun. Can't wait to go back. Thank you all so much for making our visit so memorable xxx
