The restaurant offers a comprehensive gluten-free menu alongside numerous vegetarian options. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great—we love Chinese food, but we didn’t enjoy our meal. I ordered from the gluten-free menu, while my daughter chose from the regular menu. Both of our dishes were bland and excessively greasy. Although the portion sizes were generous, the prices were quite high compared to other Chinese takeout options.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Two people with symptoms of celiac disease ordered food and experienced absolutely no issues whatsoever. The food was delicious and tasted exactly how I remember Chinese takeout before my diagnosis! I will definitely be returning to Manchester to dine here again in the future.

This restaurant is a long-time favorite in our home. The food is outstanding, and their attention to detail is quite reassuring. They offer a wide range of gluten-free options, and each item is clearly marked and kept separate from non-gluten dishes. I always feel cared for and confident when I dine here.

This place is dedicated to GF in a way we haven’t seen in a Chinese before. They have a really extensive menu and are happy to talk through everything on the phone. Eaten here 3 times now with no problems. It’s too expensive but for the security and a fancy night in it’s really worth it. Réservez une table maintenant

I absolutely love Hou Wei for gluten-free food. We've dined here countless times and have never had any issues. They offer a huge gluten-free menu; while it may not be the cheapest option, it’s worth it to know that the food is both safe and delicious!

There are plenty of gluten-free options available, and it's very coeliac-safe with separate fryers. The gluten-free menu is significantly more expensive than the standard menu, but it's the only coeliac-safe Chinese takeaway I've found in Manchester.
