Food service was way too slow. Felt terrible seeing that live food performance on our table was way too small and not happening as we saw on other table. Price of food didn't do justice to the food served. Order dinner entree of shrimps and chicken and our plate was full of rice and little shrimps n chicken. Funny that we could actually count how many pieces were there in plate. Terrible.
This was a great outing. Despite the fact that there were some technical issues with our grilling station the chef did an amazing job getting our meal cooked and management came to apologize several times and provided a discount for our dinner. We will be sure to visit again. The food was both excellent and plentiful.
This may have gotten a higher rating but the service was very rushed. It took forever for them to take our drink orders and meal orders. Then the chef rushed to cook our food and after about 15 min we were brought our bills and to go containers. We weren't even done eating . Wont be going their again.
All in all it was a very nice Mother's day dinner. It was one of the better Japanese Steakhouse experiences in Columbus. We have been to at least 4 to 5 other similar restaurants and this one held up just fine. Réservez une table maintenant
Fairly slow service, chef was competent but didn't perform many theatrics. Rice was mushy, proteins were decent but not overwhelmingly outstanding. Main dining room was uncomfortably warm.
Always a fun time watching your meal being prepared. Our chef was great kept everyone entertained while still serving an excellent meal. Filet and shrimp were both perfect!
My granddaughters love House of Japan. We celebrated one of their birthdays on our last visit.
