While I don't know exactly when this site was opened, House of Joy has been here for a long time. After I grew up my whole life in Glendale, I remember that many, many family dinners are the house of joy at the Pacific Ave, and until today they are still there. First, House of Joy is a Chinese and Korean fusion restaurant, so if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, I would recommend driving to Chinatown. This place is operated by Koreans, but also has a lot to offer. My court is definitely Beijing Chicken. This is just my opinion, but her Beijing chicken is the same with San Tung's chicken. This restaurant was first visited last week. I was greeted right away and when I arrived for lunch. Immediately after I had set myself, I was presented with a pot of hot tea and some crispy noodles with sweet sour to enjoy while I looked at the menu. I ordered the chicken stuff. The friendly waitress lets me know that was a very popular dish and then immediately the soup of the day that was included with it (hot sour). My food arrived and was delicious. From food, to service, to presentation, this place is amazing. I'm back.

The taste of food and the prices make this place a visit. The diversity is incredible!!!! Delicious and large portions. Lunch specialities are epic! You have made my order wrong 3 times, but you have always worked to replace it and get it right.

Great Chinese food. House of Joy was always consistently good. The prices are fair. Friendly service. I recommend this food when you're in the LA Crescenta area.

Nice decor and good food. Their lunch specials have a good amount of food that tasted delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. I will definitely be back.
