erpingham house is a beautiful old building decorated in a sympathetic style with quirky supplements like a bright tree in the middle of the room. I had king oyster mushroom with chunky chips. the food tasted great, but the part was quite small, I was glad I ordered the chips as a side. my wife had fsh and smashed kartoffels that they really enjoyed, but again the portion size was a little on the little side. for dessert I had coffee panna cotta and my wife had lemon and poppy discs. both were very nice, but again rather small. overall the quality of food was excellent, although the portions on the small side were paid for the price. I loved this restaurant so much that I went twice in a three day visit! The menu was very good and it was difficult to choose what to have. There were unusual items I hadn’t come across before like mushroom tea which was surprisingly tasty. The chocolate cheesecake was superb, served with ice cream, blackberry purée and miso caramel.
we visited this week to celebrate a birthday and we are treated to an amazing meal. the atmosphere is always luxuriant and the staff very friendly. they even made the dessert of the birthday girl with a candle and a happy birthday written in chocolate. always a great experience here would highly recommend.
We came here for a light lunch, bought the Katsu king oyster mushroom, which had the seal of approval from a mushroom HATER. Also had bao buns and courgette fritters! Very lovely food, but very overpriced and minimal light options. Good atmosphere and well decorated.

Absolutely top of the shop, it doesn't get any better than this. My large party of vegans and non vegans all enjoyed the delicious food and attentive service very much. The decor and ambiance were also fully conducive to a lovely evening.
If you are Vegan and in Norwich you need to eat here .... if you're not Vegan and in Norwich... then you also need to eat here... Great food Great staff and a Great vibe.

we had a really good dinner here. loved the decor and the mood of the place. good gluten-free options and beautifully presented desserts.
