Hoy's Chinese Cuisine

I called to place a delivery order at 3:47 and was informed it would arrive in 20 to 25 minutes. However, at 5:50, I called again and was told they had lost my order, resulting in an additional 20-minute wait. When I called at 6:15 to inquire about my order, I was informed that they had attempted delivery to the wrong address without notifying me or confirming the correct address. This experience was the worst service I have ever received. Additionally, I was only offered compensation in the form of two free drinks and two free desserts if I dined in the restaurant, which I have not done in three years as I typically order delivery. I am very disappointed with the service provided.

I ordered food from this restaurant yesterday and found it to be delicious. However, my spouse encountered a bone in his wonton, which unfortunately led to a broken tooth. I called to inform them of the incident, but was met with a dismissive response. The person who answered the phone said they would get the manager, but I overheard arguing in the background. Ultimately, I was told that the manager was too busy to speak with me and that he sends his apologies. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism and customer service. While I understand they may be busy, a simple gesture like taking my number and returning my call later would have sufficed.

Dined there for the first time a little bit ago, was not expecting it to be so calm and cozy inside. Wasn’t busy, and mostly older folks. The waiter was very polite and had a good attitude, the food was brought out by the chefs which was pretty cool. Not to mention the food was amazing, HUGE portions. I usually always finish my meal and have room for much more but I could only eat half before I had to get a takeout box. Food was a great price as well, only $11 dollars for what I got. Amazing price for basically two tasty lunches. 10/10 would dine here again!

Ordered 1B combo. Supposed to have veggies and almonds. No almonds to be found. Asked waitress. Response was they had no almonds and the kitchen just didn't bother to tell anyone, so they served us without saying anything. She said hopefully we will have some the next time you order. There will not be a next time. You people don't deserve it.We shouldn't have left a 15% tip . We will never go there again. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was just as delicious as I remembered. However, the service was incredibly slow - we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. It seemed like they may need more staff in both the serving and kitchen areas. This was my first time back since the restaurant reopened, and it was the first time I experienced such a long wait. Overall, the food was still excellent. Food rating: 5/5.

Very disappointed in the chicken balls they were overcooked and hard batter as well as the deep fried wings , totally different batter, and maybe undercooked.. we weren't impressed with the shrimps either. We have never experienced any of this in the past, were always happy with our order.?Service: 4/5

Short review: Really good Chinese-Canadian food experience for a small town. Everything we ordered was tasty and I would recommend coming here will come back myself), without hesitation… though be aware that if you’re looking for fortune cookies, they don’t have them.Food: 5/5

Food was awful egg roll and chicken balls had a stale taste rice had no taste and general Tao wasn’t even spicy like it should be. They gave us half off our meal which we didn’t even eat half of. Won’t be be back. It was amazing food when last owner had it. Réservez une table maintenant

The chow main and chicken balls were above average. The egg roll was below average. Overall the food is better than most. Will return to try more of the menu.Kid-friendliness: Average for a restaurant.

Great place. Food was delicious, service was great and the owner comes around to say hi. Try the spicy dishes. They have a lot of flavor.Food: 5/5
