I 've eaten German food all over Germany, and this little family owned and operated restaurant back in the woods is up towards the top of my 'Best of ' list! The service is always friendly and welcoming, and they can speak English if you need that help. The appetizers are fantastic, my favorite is the warm goat 's cheese. They have lots of different schnitzel 's to choose from (among many other types of dinner dishes. Steaks, pasta, etc. , but my staple is the Kase-Rahm schnitzel, a cheese covered meat that is covered in a brown, gravy sauce. My wife loves the Berner schnitzel, covered in cheese and hollandaise sauce. The beers are cold, the food is hot, and the atmosphere is that of a frien...
In fact, not so easy to find, but worth the extra tour. Unfortunately, in the Forrests directly over Kusel, there is a jewel of cosiness restaurant and beer garden in the matching hands of a German family. They are incredibly hardworking people and they are ready to meet your requirements. Steak, schnitzel, pea soup (bas soup) are as real as they come and all this at dirty cheap rates. My proposal: You can provide family or group functions. Give them the opportunity to quote up to 40 people on companies. ... and of course: Bring your children and leave them from the leash!! During MTB tours in the picturesque rural Pfälzer Bergland, I will use the beer guards much more often.
Nice garden restaurant. A little hard to find, but finally there are signs. I had the Jaegerschnitzel, who was a big part. I should have ordered the smaller potion. The sauce was okay, not great, but my husband ordered the Peache Schnitzel with onions and loved him. The croquettes were good as the salad. A beautiful place to spend an evening out in the summer. Also a beautiful playground for children. Good service. We will definitely go back with visitors!
