I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, but I was in the neighborhood and wanted a late breakfast around 11 o'clock or later. It was quite busy when I arrived. I ordered a Denver omelet with green peppers, onion, ham, and cheddar cheese. It came with hash browns and toast for about $14. The food arrived at the table in a reasonable amount of time and looked good. The eggs in the omelet were cooked nicely, but I felt like the vegetables (onion and peppers) were undercooked and seemed to be added at the last minute. This restaurant experience was absolutely unacceptable. The appetizers were cold and undercooked, and the meat in my dish was expired and extremely raw. I had to send it back. I couldn't even bring myself to try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich because the meat was dirty, cold, and dry. The staff rinsed the meat and brought it back out. The chef or owner was rude and yelled at the employees. I even found an ant in my water cup and a dead bug in the water. There were multiple health code violations. We have been ordering delivery from this restaurant for the past 2 years and have always been pleased with the accuracy of our order and the fact that it arrives hot. This time, we decided to dine in and were impressed by the charming atmosphere of the restaurant. The comfort food was exceptional, earning 5 stars. Additionally, I ordered the huckleberry shortcake to go and am looking forward to enjoying its sweetness. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Made a DoorDash order 30 mins before to come in and have them tell me that they haven’t even started my order having me wait 30 more minutes, they said they would have never started my order unless I came in which mind you I paid 30 mins before horrible experience, I am a DoorDash driver and now going to start not accepting deliveries from them. great place to breakfast. it was busy on a Sunday morning and there was a waiting list. our table was just a party of 2, so we had luck and could sit right away. the zimthahn is delicious and her scattered-huckleberry cake muffin is even better? great portioning. Do not forget to grab huckleberry lotion on the way out because it smells amazing lol
I have never had a bad meal here! Everything on the menu is delicious and no matter what I order I always have to start with a huckleberry muffin. The service is great the place is clean and everyone I have taken here enjoys going. If you are looking for the best breakfast in burien I believe this is it! ?
Cute traditional style restaurant with excellent food and service. I had the classic eggs benedict, and my friend had the corn beef and hash, they were both delicious. They also serve lunch and dinner classics with special throughout the week. So happy I stumbled across this place... Will def be back
