3 of us ate a meal here and within an hour of leaving we had the most terrible upset stomachs. I had a 40 minute drive home and I very nearly didn't make it without pulling over. I spoke to the manager the following day and she said she would investgat. She rang a few days later and reassured me the food was all fresh. I assured her that the food did taste good but it did not explain how 3 of us who all live in different households all suffered within an hour of leaving the restaurant. The bill was £150 and my sons had treated me. The manager sent my son a voucher for £30. Thanks...... Oh they never replied to this poor review... I would have!!! Thanks for reply. We visited Hudson Steakhouse on a recent visit to Bath. Aesthetically, I think they have done a good job in making what used to be a house into a restaurant, with quirky features. The wine and food were without question, delicious and cooked to perfection. We had the ribeye and steak burger and both were amazing, as well as glasses of Chardonnay and Malbec which didn't disappoint. What let our visit down was the waitress who served us. We found her to be cold, blunt and on the verge of rude. She had no enthusiasm when we asked questions about the food and clearly didn't want to be there...or us! Such a shame cause we loved the food.
Went for the weekday special. The food was very good and came quite quickly, with the meals arriving within 1 or 2 minutes at most. The quality was great, although slightly varied. I thought my steak was above average, while others stated it was the best they've ever had. The service was excellent, some of the best I've seen, especially when most of us were making use of the special offer. Highly recommend
I recently tried the early evening special at this restaurant, which included flat iron steak, garlic mushrooms, and fries. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant was always clean. I highly recommend it.

This place is quite simply SUPERB. If you haven’t been thinking about going, do it! Lovely setting, atmosphere staff. Oh did I almost forget to mention the menu, just perfect in every way. THANK YOU, we will be back.
I would expect an award-winning restaurant to stock an award-winning drink, so that was the only issue. Food was fantastic, as always: I had a wonderful birthday supper! Thank you.
Visited tonight, Saturday with my wife, fantastic place, food service and staff couldn’t be faulted. Very attentive and a great atmosphere. We will be visiting again soon
Brilliant steak and plate of food. Great place to chill and dine. Parking is hard but if you're OK to walk from the underground carpark 15 mins then it's great.

Perfect! The steaks are cooked to perfection, the best meat quality. The service was friendly and attentive. Everything fitted. To recommend.
