Our friends live nearby in Heisingen and recommended visiting this restaurant. There is free parking outside and access is via steps which means that the restaurant enjoys great views of the Baldeneysee lake.An outside seating area is available which is fitted with a cover in the cooler weather. We went inside and received a friendly greeting from the staff.We got a table by the window and they brought us a free glass of Ouzo whilst we chose from the menus. A restaurant beautifully situated with nice view onto the Baldeneysee. Typical greek food, partially prepared on the large open charcoal grill. Children's playground outside, very friendly staff. Best time to visit is a nice summer evening when you can enjoy the outside seating and the view. Inside atmosphere is ok, but has a bit of a "hall"-type feeling.The food is fine and in the range you would expect from a greek restaurant. So nothing fancy or special, but good and at fair prices.
Pas la première visite et certainement pas la dernière. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et serviable, pas du genre allemand raide. Le menu propose à peu près tout, du poisson à la viande en passant par les plats végétariens. La cuisine grecque a de nombreux visages et vous avez la chance ... d'en avoir un petit résumé. La commande est arrivée rapidement, la nourriture était bonne et j'ai trouvé les prix tout à fait normaux. La vue sur la rivière est vraiment agréable. Nous reviendrons
It's nice location, nice view, nice staff...But the food is very average. We ordered big meat plate for 4 persons. It was OK, but nothing special. It was not juice enough, not seasoned enough and what was worst, served with fries and tomato rice both of which are not typical Greek side dishes (and it was not enough for 4 persons). Nous connaissons l'endroit et adorons le visiter de temps en temps. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable, flexible dans les changements de menu. Les prix sont corrects, le goût est bon et vous pouvez trouver des plats grecs traditionnels. Heureusement, nous avons trouvé une table car elle ... était encore une fois très occupée. Je reviendrai sûrement
Plenty of room and a nice view from the huge conservatory over the lake.The service... I think it depends on how lucky you are as to who serves your table.Some of the waiters are really nice, others not so.The menu has lots of meats, some fish. I'd expect to see more "Greek" dishes.The food: was OK but nothing exciting.This place could offer so much more...
