I enjoyed very much the place. The food was downright excellent octopus was really great and the duck breast perfect! The ricotta mousse was probably the best desert I had tried in a very long time. The service was a little bit slow, but courteous and friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere of tranquility and relaxing ambiance as well. Beautiful setting and interior design. A bit too far from the center, but worth visiting anyway. Definitely a restaurant which can be recommended without any doubt.
Die Schloß Atmosphäre war wunderschön... Aber das Zimmer war unmöglich! Ein alter abgelaufener Teppichboden aus den achtzigern auf dem man Barfuß nicht gehen möchte. Eine alte, braune Textiltapete.... Alles in allem sehr lieblos eingerichtet. Kommt den Fotos auf der Website noch nicht mal nahe! Und die Beschwerde ließ den Rezeptionisten ziemlich kalt.... Aber wie gesagt: Das Schloß, die Lage... Traumhaft schön
Already visited several occasions. Very stylish! Extraordinary premises, well maintained historical charm. Very friendly accommodating staff. Just chick and noble. Only the seating of the conservatory restaurant is somewhat uncomfortable due to the flat tendons. For longer visits rather difficult, because not backward-friendly. Otherwise always recommend.

We had a wonderful lunch with family and friends. The business lunch of homemade boar ham with feldsalat and Rinderfiletmedaillons with mustard sauce and potato puree was excellent value at €21.50. Also notable was the cinnamon octopus and the thyme and pear sorbet. The castle is spectacular and forms a perfect backdrop for a special occasion.
A culinary journey of the class! The restaurant 1831 not only convinces with an exciting menu, but also with a first-class service and a charming atmosphere. Every gear was a taste experience and the young service team took care of our well-being. Absolutely recommended and we like to come back!

All very good and very clean and very friendly. Rich and good quality breakfast. Eat in the restaurant phenomenal (especially the butter-laid sardines)!
