Hullrod Restaurant & Cafe

This cozy place made us a perfect meal. We went for the surprise menu. And that us what it was. None of the items was in the menu. We started with a tasty red beet/cucumber and cold cuts inlaid soup. Main course consisted of juicy tender venison on bed of ceps mushrooms and polenta brought to perfectly balanced forest dinner. We finished with a 3 piece desert nicely decorated.

Über eine Internetrecherche sind wir auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden - und was soll ich sagen: die Küche ist zurecht im Michelin Restaurantführer aufgeführt.Die Speisen selbst und deren Präsentation waren tadellos. Das Personal jederzeit freundlich und kompetent.Wir werden wiederkommen!

beautiful hike from friedrichroda to finsterbergen. unfortunately, at the arrival nothing for a short time. hüllrod closed due to corona. it is strongly advised to provide drinks and small snacks for longer hikes.Hunger makes bad laune.

here I experienced a very beautiful concert of the darker blasphemy. it was visited very well, also by passing hikers. it is a beautiful environment.
