Hummerkorb - Réservation de table

Nice little restaurant/pub along the canal. Inside and outside seating. Seat yourself. We were originally given a German menu but they quickly exchanged it for an English one. Husband got the turkey and I got the Turbot. Both were excellent but the side of vegetables was the best we have ever had. Not sure how they prepare it but it was mixed vegetables with a rich buttery flavor, fresh and cooked perfectly. The Turbot was cooked perfectly and you could tell it was very fresh. Service good. Some waitresses speak better English than others but all tried and were helpful. Prices decent. Great Rostock beer.

We went looking for an informal place to have dinner whilst in Rostock and found Hummerkorb on the Alter Strom. All the seafood we ordered was well cooked and the lobster, straight from the tank superb. Service was good with very helpful staff, happy to grant requests off the standard menu.Whilst we went in the cold gloom of winter, this would be fabulous for summer dining and a bottle of wine watching the world go past.

we had a wonderful meal here in our last night of our holiday. the waitress was very helpful and found us a menu in English on her tablet. that was good because we didn't recognize all the dishes. the food was great and the wine that was recommended was also great and it was the house wine, so a good price. all in all a beautiful place with friendly staff and great food and we will come back at the next visit.

We really enjoyed the day. Great service, cool drinks, hot food. The food was very delicious, both appetizer and main course. The restaurant is simply furnished to stay on the terrace. It is better to serve in the evening, and I believe that. We were there at noon and have a nice place. The prices are perfect for the food. We'll be back. Réservez une table maintenant

The food at this restaurant was quite good. I had the salmon and bacon. Great combination. The salmon was fresh and not overcooked. The waitress took excellent care of us despite limited German ability. The view was not excellent, but the restaurant was comfortable.

ate some lunch here jager schnitzel for a good price, service was great, fast , and efficient. Would recommend this place to all visiting the nice little seaside town. Yes Rokstocker Beir is really good too.

We had dinner in Hummerkorb last month - for pity it was overcrowded and the service was very slow. The food was good and tasty and the prices are normal for Germany. Réservez une table maintenant

Called in with friends for a mid sightseeing drink. Service a little slow, waitng staff proritised diners. Food looked good.
