Hunan Tasty - Réserver une table

I've worked in Virginia for nearly two decades and have tried many Chinese restaurants, some okay, and others not good at all. Yesterday, I tried Hunan Tasty, and it was AMAZING! I ate so fast that I forgot to take pics or write a review.Today, while traveling from my office in Rockville to work a shift in Fairfax, I heard my belly cry out, and it begged for more Chinese. I hit Doordash and just finished some beef fried rice with General Tso chicken, and Lord have mercy! The food is delicious, hot, and made me take pics and write this long review lol. THE BEST I'VE HAD IN VIRGINIA TO DATE! If you don't believe it, place an order and see exactly what I mean.

It gets good reviews from others, but the food lacks love. I’ll go further, I feel like it’s cooked by a robot. I have tried this place 5 times over the years and each item is missing something. The General Tsos Tofu felt like the Tofu was added last minutes to the sauce and the flavors didn’t marry. My tongue could distinguish the tofu without the sauce that surrounded it.I ultimately just threw the dish away. I find all their food lack’s deliciousness. They have customers, maybe it’s just me.

We are Oakton residents and have been buying takeout Chinese food from Hunan Tasty for as long as we can remember. Tonight my wife picked up beef with black bean sauce on her way home from work. It's usually a good dish but today it was exceptional. The vegetables and beef were super fresh and perfectly cooked. Thanks for providing such great food and service to our neighborhood.

As a Chinese American… I can say this is the best Chinese carry out place from Fairlakes to Oakton! They never get my order worry and they are quick. The value is amazing for all that you get from them.
