Hungry Chameleon is one of the closest pizza places to our new home, and so we were excited to try it out! Unfortunately our visit started off with being given the wrong order. Pizza places I've been to usually open the pizza box briefly to show their customers the food before handing it over to ensure accuracy, but when my husband came home with food that obviously wasn't ours (he didn't open the boxes to check either , I had to call HC to figure out what happened and then drive the incorrect items back. I was told that my husband gave them them a different name when he picked up (even though he swore up and down he gave them both mine and his names, maybe they only heard mine? . When I arrived I was given the correct items, but wasn't apologized to or offered anything for the trouble. Mistakes happen; whatever! Let's get into the food, shall we? Now don't get me wrong, I'm a thin crust pizza girl to the grave, and we did ask for our pizza to be crispy/well done, but sadly the pizza crust/bread was lacking moisture and came off as dry, bland and flat. So bummed. Another way to describe it would be mealy/bready/cardboard-y, almost like you'd find with a frozen pizza, or from Chuck-E-Cheese. Seemed like something in the dough mixture was either missing, or there was too much of something. While our salad and the pizza's cheese, sauce, and toppings all stood at a a solid 10/10, I couldn't get past the taste and texture of the pizza dough and just decided to eat the cheese and toppings off the top and toss the bread. (Breadsticks were the same dry texture . Looks like some other Yelpers have mentioned similar experiences with the crust, so we probably won't try it again. Adding an extra star for creativity; cute business name and marketing, and the very unique pizza options (al pastor, chorizo, chicken mole, etc and toppings they offer!

This is by far the best pizza I have EVER tasted! It's such a beauty of art when you first open the box. It's well crafted and beautiful, the Al Pastor with the dipping sauce was just a blessing in disguise

Very difficult to park, but the pizza was worse. It’s literally school pizza. I don’t get it. A $5 Tombstone from the freezer aisle is better. I hate giving a bad review but this is facts.

The best pizza around! The service is quick and consistent. I always order the Al Pastor and it is always delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough.
