6:50 tonight, order meal deal, get told there are no fries, but we can do onion rings, so I say ok to that. Waiting for my meal I notice that there is an 80c charge for onion rings on my docket. When my food is delivered, I ask about the charge and the Duty manager says Yes, we charge for that, I ask then what about the meal deal with NO fries, so no substitution. Asked for my money back and he says, what the 80c? Got it all back and left, terrible customer service, and they were probably doing that all day. What a rip off.
I know just how busy this outlet is because there are always long queues waiting. But when after a second visit I have become very disillusioned about this HJs through either their lack of training, inattention or just stressful workplace. Twice in a matter of days or order was missing a Med. fries and the 2nd time is was the chicken burger from a combo meal deal. An apology was given and accepted however, there are plenty of other fast food outlets that will be considered on my next visit.
Shocking Pay $30 for a little bit of onion rings and 2 burgers onion rings are cold burgers are beyond terrible and on top of all that I'm sick for the rest of night after all that never again and unfortunately this is not the first time absolutely unprofessional how you can serve related food to customers

Had some great deals on special: a hamburger, a sundae, fries, and drinks for like $5 AUD. You cannot beat that price, but around 1000 calories. hahaThey have the slurpees for $1 AUD. Not bad!IF you want fast food, go here, but watch out for getting fat!
Had breakfast at the Hungry Jacks at Cairns Airport and was absolutely disgusted in what it tasted like. Service was fine, it was just the food that was unacceptable. I will never venture into a Hungry Jacks ever again.

Wow had a sure meal their and lovely service the staff and management know Their stuff and the food is delightful now that's what I call good happy place to eat and socialise

Food wasn't the best we've eaten at HJ's. Also our order was messed up. We got a wrong burger with onion even we ordered it without.
Had their new burger at Cairns Central shopping centre outlet and it tasted ok, just like any other fast food burgers.
