I had the unfortunate luck of calling into this place for a quick lunch. I orderd the $5.50 special that included chips, nugets, a burger, a drink and a drumstick desert. The chips and nuggets were warm not hot, the burger was "COLD". the bun was just off frozen and the taste of the burger was horrific, if you think that was bad enough, the drumstick (I left that in the counter freezer while I 'ate' my meal) when I collected it at the end of trying to eat the burger, well it was soft and almost running out of the cone. A single person serving during Lunch Period, long Cue. 10 minutes just to place an order. Burger and chips arrived quickly after order, but Chips had no Salt and the burger was supposed to be a Fiery Angus Burger...it had 1 Jalapeno on it, and only two very small strips of angry onions...very disappointed. It meant the burger had no "Fiery" at all. Manager seemed good at referring people to the Website (the person in front of me and me). Just prior to leaving, went to Toilet, that was filthy and did not appear to have been cleaned in a while, and the Hand Dryer did not function which you don't know until your hands are wet. Good place for family dinner. Beware though, service in Oz restaurants is not the same as in the states: most times, you will walk up and order, pay, and they will bring you the food. You will need to hunt them down for table follow and getting the check.
Thank you to all the staff at Hungry Jacks, it is you guys and gals that make our food and it is just fantastic, yummy and you ae always smiling so keep you the good work and if no one has told you all thanks for doing the best job ever.

Their grilled chicken burgers are great, and with iced tea, quite a healthy quick meal. The Aussie burger includes a real fried egg, bacon and beetroot (I ask them to withhold the beetroot with no problem) and makes a great meal.
The operator is hard to hear in the drive through speaker (and vice versa). An ant crawled out of my bag (it did not even to offer to pay its share!). Location good and the drive through reasonably quick at midnight.
Stopped in on the way from town and found it very untidy and dirty. Went to toilet and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for awhile. Don't think I would go there again
Great value for money $15 and very tasty, lovely mash and fresh vegetables. Great service and great location i. Centre of Cairns.
