Before you visit Hush, remember no restaurant is perfect. Other races support their local businesses, (no matter what) so should we. My wife made reservations for 2 on Saturday for 8pm. #datenight The crowd was light when we arrived. The host asked if we wanted inside outside seating. We chose outside, even though we knew rain was expected. Visually Hush looks sexy. The vibe felt right. Mostly all Black crowd. Their live DJ was turnt up playing R B hits. Our food was perfectly plated. We ordered the Oxtails Coconut ???? Curry Salmon. Both were delicious ???? Drinks were on point. Our waitress offered suggestions on what her favs were. The Coconut Curry Salmon was a hit. ???? Our suggestion for the owner: Upgrading to touchless appliances in bathroom would help prevent the spread of Covid, etc. Lastly, our only set back which led to 4 stars ???? was how long it took our waitress to get back to us. I noticed the owner manager hasn't been commenting on the reviews lately. My suggestion would be for the management team to walk around and greet the guests, make sure their guests are enjoying themselves. (that's what makes us come back) I put that responsibility on you. The wait staff isn't trained to be top notch professionals. We want to see this Black business continue to win. Hopefully the owner takes time to find solutions for these minor issues. Other than that, my wife and I would recommend this place to our friends.
Not only was the food amazing, but the service was too good to be true. We booked a reservation online and got seated once we arrived. Renay, our waitress, was so good that every time I come here I?m asking for her. When we realized we didn?t tell her our allergies and they brought out food we couldn?t eat, Renay was extremely accommodating. Bringing out a new plate and taking our old one away with no issue. Loved it here!!
Loved our waitress, who really kicked the experience off to a great evening. Everyone in my party loved their food. I will say that I was so caught up in my experience that I didn't realize that the tip was added to our party of 4 and wasn't bothered by it until it hit me later. That would be my only reason for not giving it 5 stars. I would expect the tip added to a larger party.
