Husky Gas - Réservation de table

The Husky House at 400 and 88 has gone way downhill from a respectable truck stop diner that it should be. Though the service is friendly and they were efficient, but poor food is poor food. The spaghetti and meat sauce had meat that had to be defrosted. It was chewy and unappetizing. I could not believe how poorly and cheaply spaghetti could be done until this trip at the Husky House. The washrooms were extremely dingy and the general feel of the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. Cheap fare does not have to terrible fare. I would recommend going elsewhere than the Husky House, head into the town of Bradford proper to enjoy a decent meal.

Husky is a gas bar, convenience store and a truck stop restaurant. Located at the turn off to Bradford, this place has been a favourite for truckers for years. Food is good and good value for the money. Restaurant is large with lots of space. Good place to bring family if you are commuting to the cottage. Stairs up to the washrooms though. Difficult if you have wheelchair. Friendly service. Grilled cheese to go is fabulous!

We've eaten here numerous times, breakfast, lunch, and dinners. On this visit we had breakfast, 2 of eggs, bacon, and home fries and one hot cereal with toast. My mom gasped at the ginormous bowl of hot cereal that was served with brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Catherine our server was such a sweet person. (Sorry no photos on this review as we dove into our food!)

Stopped here a few times in the past and it was better but now it is Totally Pathetic. Slow crappy service by the waitress. A simple breakfast order totally screwed up BUT still had the nerve to charge for the so-so coffee with no re-fill offered. The most expensive coffee they ever served since I will never be back. Stopped to get diesel and dinner while pulling our camping trailer. Restaurant food and staff wonderful, kid friendly (kids meals a huge!) and reasonable prices. The bathrooms are upstairs (not accessible) and definitely not the clean or fresh smelling of restrooms.

I have stopped here a few times over the last 30 years and nothing much changes. The food always seems good, portions often huge, service is okay, the place could be cleaner but it is decent food at a good price when you are on the highway and hungry.

This was intended to be a truck stop, they serve truck stop portions and the food is excellent. Clean and bright restaurant with speedy service, I would recommend this place to families as the "Price is right"

I stop by for breakfast and lunch. The food is fresh and delicious. One can stop off for snacks, lunch or dinner and also get your car refuelled too. Réservez une table maintenant

Open beef sandwich, tender meat served piping hot. Real food, and plenty of it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the liver. Went in hungry, came out full.

A very tired and dated restaurant. The food was satisfactory but not outstanding. The service good and friendly.
