I was excited to try Huxtaburger while I was in Melbourne recently, as I have heard great things about this burger franchise.I opted for the Denise burger meal with a vanilla shake. Some other people in my party opted for the Huxtaburger meals, so I was able to sample both the Denise burger and the Huxtaburger.The reason why this experience was sadly disappointing is that I think there is a glimmer of a decent burger here, but our burgers were somewhat cold and very salty. So the grease had coagulated by the time we were eating them. Have been a few times to Huxtaburger, eating in I rate it 5, it takes a while but it's busy. Takeaway is a 4 as three food was only Luke warm, still great flavour though.Burgers come on a soft (really soft) bun with a range of toppings. I went for the simple classic cheeseburger. Chips were also great, there is a new Chipotle option and these are great.Overall I will be back and recommend to the place to anyone.
True to say that most burger joints fail in that category but I do not enjoy eating cold or just lukewarm burgers. Although drinks you get an unlimited still cost too much alcoholic beverages are expensive.Customer service is good but as I said not timely in delivery and keeping things hot for the customer
I recently tried the Hux's Love burger at this restaurant and it was delicious. The patty was juicy, the lettuce was crunchy, and the sauce was great. The service was friendly and efficient, and the chips were a perfect complement to the meal.

The "Denise" is my favourite. Love the toasted crisp inside and the fresh soft outside bun. Topped with beef and salad and the sauce. mmmm love it love it love it
Heard alot about huxtaburger before I'd been here and it was definitely worth the hypeDelicious burgers with plenty of different options.
I had the cheese burger and was very disappointed. The bun was soggy, cheese was fake and the patty was small and dry. Don't recommend.
The burger I had was over grilled and too salty for my taste. The French fries were salty too. It was a salty experience.
