This restaurant is extremely disappointing! Corporate should be embarrassed to have this Hwy 55 location in their hometown. Despite being brand new, the building is always dirty and unappealing. The staff, bless their hearts, are friendly and try to work together, but they struggle to complete tasks efficiently. Service is incredibly slow, and orders are incorrect almost every time. The food is consistently unappetizing—often dry, cold, or both. The only thing they seem to get right is failure. I truly regret spending my money here. It’s such a shame. Ordered, received our drinks and waited over 30 minutes. The waitress never checked on us, people came in and were served. We never received our food and when I went to the counter and asked she said it was given to someone else (must have been in atakeout) and said she would put the order back in. We left. Service was awful, the flagship restaurant was dirty. What anabsolute embarrassment for Mt. Olive.
Charming little spot. The burger and cheese steak were tasty. However, the fries came out lukewarm and soft, almost soggy. When we asked for replacements, they were hot but still had an undercooked texture. I've been waiting with my money on the counter for 15 minutes now, and it was only just taken. I wish we had opted to go next door to Hardee's instead. Overall, it wasn't a great first impression.

Tyler, the manager, is by far the worst manager I have ever encountered. He is unprofessional and treats his staff poorly, often yelling and provoking arguments with them. These confrontations happen openly in the restaurant, and he never shows any concern or offers an apology.
My first order from Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries was a bit unusual. I asked for a meal with buttered toast, but I received a hot dog bun instead. I'm not sure if that was intentional or if they had run out of toast.
