Once the staff knew we were celebrating our anniversary, they pulled out all the stops! First, they lit a candle and sprinkled rose petals on our table. I know this is a steak place so I probably shouldn’t get the oysters, but I did. These un-fresh oysters were an abomination. It might seem harsh to give one star because of a single dish but for a restaurant, supposedly of this quality, if you can’t do raw oysters well then they shouldn’t be on the menu at all. Even the mignonette was awful. The weird gelatinous consistency looked like something from a jar. The beef carpaccio was good but the whole point of this dish is the beef but it was covered in so much mustard sauce and cheese that it was hard to appreciate the fresh beef but maybe it wasn’t fresh. Hyde Park was an incredible experience for my partner and I’s anniversary. I got the Steak Herbstreit with the Cognac Bordelaise and my partner got the Urban Meyer Steak, we shared a side of the whipped garlic potatoes. The steaks were absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection with a great peppery crust, pepper seems to be the theme here as the Bordelaise also was very peppery but not super overpowering. Service was absolutely on point. The cocktails were amazing and both of the wine glasses we got (a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Red Blend) paired beautifully with the meal. I will definitely be coming back and would 100% recommend. The next time however I would love to try more of the appetizers...
It had been many years since we had been to Hyde Park because there are so many amazing restaurants in Columbus. Sadly it was the last time we will visit. For the amount we spent I would expect everything to be five stars. My ribeye was heavily charred. Not just a little charred but heavily. It was mostly black. I ordered it medium rare and it was definitely medium. It was dropped off at the table and they didn't ask us to cut into it to see how it was cooked. I have never gone to a restaurant and not finished a steak but I did at Hyde Park. The au gratin potatoes were good. The lobster mac and cheese was average. The service was average.

Stop here every year on the way out to Indy. If you are at one of the local hotels, walk over and sit at the bar. The Caesar salad and calamari are excellent. The filet with a huge baked potato is my go-to.
Arrived late but the staff were still very accommodating. The aged Ribeye was one of the best Steaks I have ever had. Try the Thick Cut bacon appetizer If you are in the mood for something decadent.
Came to Happy Hour and fell in love with Laurie!! Her cocktail suggestions were amazing as was the food!! Cheers to the bed at their craft!
The food is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. We absolutely love coming here for our date nights!
