I just got married this past Saturday and wanted to use Hy-Vee for my cupcakes and cake. First off, Setting up a tasting was the most complicated process, we could not get anyone to help us and communication was a nightmare. We live an hour away and drove there 3 times before we finally got to take cake home to try. The first time we went they were too busy and told us to come back on Tuesday at 2:00. I came back on Tuesday at 2:00 and no one was there to help us. We finally were told how the tasting works (they make it up and send you home with it) so they could have made it up for us that Tuesday and left it for us, but they never even asked what we wanted to try. I called the catering department on 2/17/22, to order a charcuterie tray for a friend that just moved into a new home. Fortunately, Skylie answered the phone, because I had a special request. I wanted to add a small package of cat and dog treats to the order for the family pets. She went into action and suggested a small individual tray for the pets, separate from the family tray. Brilliant! I said! I was so excited with this idea! She put them together herself and sent photos to me! The Asian food is terrible. Unless you make a meal out of the wontons. I get the automatic review your experience notifications from google., And IF I reply it 's something like, this place is dope or another lazy millennial response, I have never taken the time to write a bad review before but, bruh... I literally eat anything when I 'm hungry, but with this, I just couldn 't. I get that this is a grocery store, but everything else at Hy-Vee has been so tasty that I thought this would be the same. Please add msg or put a Panda Express in there.
This particular store have major issues with their bakery and deli items. They are often not fresh. They should be doing operations checklist and putting expiration dates on their products before giving to the customers. Service is always slow. They have different managers and employees all the time when they feel that they have this “my rules” and play this and that when it comes with arguing about wrong pricing. It’s just better for you to order home meal kit like Sunbasket or Grubhub

Worst breakfast ever. Omelette was way undercooked. Pancakes were burnt. Other persons sausage patties were burnt. Nothing was good. Will not be back. Even if you still had the bogo i still would've wanted a refund. i would leave zero stars if possible. only positive thing was poor worker who was taking orders at register and also cleaning tables and bringing out food. She deserves a raise so we actually felt bad for her and left her an additional tip.
This review is for Hy-Vee Market Grille. It was my first time trying it, and I found it to be more upscale compared to typical fast-food chains. However, considering the price, I've enjoyed better burgers at other places. That being said, it was still a pleasant experience, and I really liked the restaurant's atmosphere.
The worst place I ever ate on Zane avenue the food was cold it tasted lousy they were hardly courteous weren't very helpful like I said the food was terrible I would never eat there and I wouldn't even send my dog there to eat

This is now one of the Wahlburgers chain. Basically a mid-scale hamburger place with some extra items. They still serve beer and wine.
