I took a day to reflect on my experience before writing this review to make sure it lived up to my memories. The restrooms at the restaurant were exceptionally clean, which I truly appreciated. The prices were reasonable, and the overall value was excellent. I didn’t detect any additives like extra sugar or MSG in the dishes. We ordered seafood udon, two salmon bento dinners, and the Rock and Roll and Ichi California rolls. For appetizers, we enjoyed fresh oysters (which even came topped with fish roe!) and deep-fried soft shell crab mussels. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly, and our server was attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely be coming back...
I had the worst Japanese food experience ever. The miso soup was basically just clear chicken broth with nothing in it, and the chicken katsu resembled sesame chicken without any breading. To make matters worse, they almost served us the tempura and katsu without any sauces! When we asked for sauce, the staff seemed surprised that we wanted it. I would give this place 0 stars. This charming and well-kept little restaurant had no wait time, and the couple who owns it were incredibly friendly. We sampled the crunchy roll, dragon roll, California roll, miso soup, and gyoza, all of which were delicious. Our usual sushi spot has a 45-minute wait, but this place is often overlooked. We will definitely be coming back here for our sushi in the future.
Wow. The sushi was terrible. I've never had fish that tasted so bad—it felt old. How could they serve this? Don't they worry about potential lawsuits? Thankfully, I have a strong stomach, but this was by far the worst sushi experience I've ever had. It pains me to say it, but it's true: it's crucial to know when to discard fish.

There’s so much to say about Ichi. My family and I have been coming here for years. The food is outstanding, and Mike and Shirley are two of the kindest and most welcoming people you could ever meet. If you’re looking for excellent sushi and a family-like atmosphere, I highly recommend Ichi.

I ordered chicken teriyaki but received beef teriyaki instead. The server may have mixed up my order since I also requested chicken karaage. Despite the mix-up, the food was still quite good.
Great sushi for the price! The atmosphere is pleasant, and I really appreciate that they're open late. All the rolls and sashimi we tried were expertly made.
