I recently dined at a fantastic All-You-Can-Eat restaurant with my family and friends and had a wonderful experience. Despite some negative reviews, I found the food to be top-notch with thick slices of sashimi and a wide variety of options from sushi to hot dishes to desserts. The buffet area also impressed me with three soup options, cold dishes like seaweed salad and shrimp, and a fun shaved ice machine for dessert. The food was mediocre and service was rude. I get they can get busy at times but what?s the point of making a reservation ahead if you?re going to be seated last anyways? Also while the eating time was set at 2 hours max (which I understand), the server came to us after we are already seated and ordered food, and demanded we finish in 1.5 hours since they want our table for another reservation. After making it clear we aren?t going to accept that, they reluctantly moved us to another table. While they spend a lot of energy on advertising and making innovative dishes, they don?t actually taste all that good. With their quality of food and bad attitude, I won?t be going back again.

Is this place as bad as the reviews? No, definitely not, I?ve been to many Japanese buffet and the service I received here were fairly decent. I never had to call for the staffs to clear my table or to put in my order, they also offer to fill up our tea pot. Maybe I would have appreciated it if they introduced the dishes as they were being served (some of the more popular or unique ones) but that?s just my take. Another thing, I would recommend is for them to stop using dented plates as it ruins the presentation. Come here for the AYCE and it?s always consistently good food with decent service. Love that they have fresh sashimi and torched sushi. Salad bar with the dessert bar is good as well. Service is decent but gets a bit slower as it gets busier during the dinner times.
Went to Ichiban AYCE for dinner. It's $40 per person, and the food quality is medicore, and to be honest, that is what you expect from AYCE. Would I go back? maybe with a group, but I found WINd Thai is a little better with more selections of dishes.
We enjoyed the wide selection of sushi available and particularly enjoyed nearly all of the options. Planning our selections in advance and using the iPad to place our order made the process seamless. Needless to say, we indulged in quite a feast.

Great all you can eat. The food is delicious. If you go there make sure you scratch the ear of the robot waiter even if she objects, the more you scratch, the more fun and surprise you will get?
This restaurant has always been a favorite sushi spot for my boyfriend and me. We come here frequently and recently tried their new scallop skewers, which have quickly become my favorite dish.
