Ichiban Sushi Asian Grill

A surprisingly good cheaper option for sushi. We went on a sunday for lunch and were seated promptly. The restaurant began to fill up as we were there. Service was very good. They were friendly, attentive, and quick! The restaurant is actually a really beautiful space with a variety of seating options. It seemed very clean. The menu is rather gimmicky. The sushi is priced at 1/2 off...permanently. Obviously this is a marketing trick but it worked well since I knew about it before visiting. I went here for my first time last week, it’s my friend’s favorite place. We got a bunch of different rolls and egg drop soup. The service was great but I found the food a little underwhelming and most of it tasted the same, even though the rolls all had different ingredients. I think it was the sauces that overwhelmed the taste of the different rolls.All of the specialty sushi is overpriced on the menu because everything is 50%, which brings the total to an affordable cost. The basic yellowtail roll and the dinosaur (my first roll that had zero rice) were my favorites. I’d go again just to order more simply. The cost is definitely a perk.

My girlfriend and I just moved to Salt Lake City and this place set the bar pretty high. The portions are perfect, the presentation was great, the service was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We were helped by Sifan and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Although the place was packed, she was there quickly! We will definitely be back!

The foods great this is actually my favorite sushi spot but I had a bad experience with our server. Apparently he decided to tip himself $10 extra after we had left my wife and I noticed the difference on our banking app and called the restaurant. They did return our money, but I still felt the need to write this review and warn others. Réservez une table maintenant

Paradise roll, fire kiss roll, Honolulu roll are my go to rolls. It’s all good! It’s usually always busy, but I can see why. The food is great, the service is great! The sushi is not outrageously expensive like a lot of sushi places. Love it here. My kids even love it.Food: 5/5

I've been visiting Ichiban for years, and I've never had a single bite that wasn't perfectly prepared or made with the freshest ingredients. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere of the new building is quite comfortable.

It’s only half off IF you dine in. Otherwise it’s full price. Pretty consistent sushi place has a large menu it’s not just sushi it’s also Chinese amongst other. Large enough menu to please anyone even the pickiest eater.

All 7 rolls we ordered were a hit, only downside is that they put the almost all the rolls in one tin. We had no idea which roll belonged to whom. Réservez une table maintenant

Such a great family atmosphere, 50% all the time so don’t be fooled by the menu. Kids love coming here to try new rolls. Great service!

Best sushi in Utah. The hidden dragon roll is the best ? the employees are very nice. We drive out of our way for this sushi.Food: 5/5
