The owner changed. Food is terrible. Price is rip off. Different food from the picture. They are not even Japanese food!!! It's Korean Food. Side dish is Korean Cucumber Kimuchi. We wanted eat Japanese Food very very disappointed.. I order Chicken Namban but they gave...me Chicken Cutlet with tartar sauce. They don't even know what's the Japanese Food like. My Family ordered Chashu Ramen, Chashu was hard and terrible... They are still using the menu from the original owner but changed the food more like Korean way and lot smaller, We are not going back for sure!!
I go to this Japanese restaurant very often because it's close to home. Recently, the staff seemed to have changed completely and I wasn't sure if the food's of the same standard. I went there last week and was pleased to find their standard unchanged.. it was as good as usual. Their fleshy soft shell crab salad has always been my favourite, deep fried perfectly, together with fresh salad and a secret dressing, it's so appetizing! Love their Yaki Udon too with Bonito shavings on top.
Had a strange experience here. I walked in and got myself the baby seat and started feeding my child,it only took minutes for someone to take my order. Food came out quick but my eel looked like pieces that came from a sushi...piece. It’s probably the worse bento box I’ve had
Ichiraku is a good, local Japanese Restaurant. Although it is a little bit pricey, the food is quite good. The only negative is that service is really terrible. Staff are rude, ignorant and unfriendly. Overall a average experience coming to this restaurant.

This is our favourite Japanese restaurant in Eastwood. The name is now Da Doh Ichiraku. The teriyaki salmon main meal is good value for money and delicious. Our other favourites include seaweed salad and gyoza. Its ramen is not bad too.
When I want to have nice Japanese food I like to come here. The food is yummy. I like Terriyaki salmon. Last visit the Terriyaki salmon bento was very nice. It had salmon sashimi instead of sushi. It was the best bento ever.
One of the better Japanese restaurants in Eastwood. Value for money good, as not overly expensive. Usually have one of their bento box meals and sufficient for a meal. Staff are always friendly whenever we've been there.
Tried a few dishes but only teriyaki chicken has been all time favourite. For example, ox tongue was too thin and has too much fats. Beef was too rubbery, LOL. Stick to basic then you won't regret.

I have been times in the past couple of weeks. I had heard that it had changed hands but there has been no change in quality, if anything there has been an improvement.
the service was quick. the sushi was fresh and the fish in large portions. The atmosphere was conforablel.
