This place has a wonderful location and plenty of space. However it was a busy night (no busier than any other professional restaurant in a busy area though). Everything was poorly handled.First of all our table wasn't prepared for our booking- but instead of even directing us to the bar or even offering us (or the birthday girl) a complimentary drink the maitre d just said 'come back later'. When we were seated (20 mins later) the outside area was not protected from the cold winds- the drop down screens were broken, could not attach and therefore made useless. Went here today for lunch. The name has changed from Icon to Fiction. The service was extremely slow. We arrived at 12.05pm, our order was not taken for almost 30 minutes, and the entree arrived 30 minutes after that, and by then we had consumed one bottle of wine which, by the way, arrived within minutes of us sitting down at our table. The main course did not arrive until 1.55pm (after our second bottle of wine). We complained at 1.30pm and were told our orders were next and would be at the table in 5 minutes, finally 20 minutes later they arrived. What a great spot for meeting friends and family.I want breakfast here but sadly we have to contend with lunch and dinner menus only.The wine bar is friendly and bright and offers bar food, long tables accommodating good sized groups and a restaurant that is smart and has a good menu.We have eaten at this venue on numerous occasions and only very occasionally been disappointed.The staff both at the bar and restaurant are friendly.A great spot to see the water and boats on the bay, a nice place for all occasions.

This place is now called finite bar and was a very pleasant surprise. The food was good and honest - nice sized serves and very enjoyable. The service was good and we thought the prices reflected good value for money.I'd recommend this place - for a relaxed meal as a couple or with a group of friends. It's not fine dining it's a 'local' bar that is worth a visit. Réservez une table maintenant

We were seated inside on a quiet Monday night, with 2 other tables. Waited 20 mins to have our order taken, then another 20 to receive our drinks, which were incorrect. Then waited another hour for the food to be served. Of the long wait was follows by an amazing meal, then I would be satisfied, but it was tasteless. Won't be returning!

Our family went there for Mother's Day and my Mother-in-law was greeted with a rose and glass of champagne. I had salmon for lunch which was a healthy yet delicious dish. The desserts were yummy as well.The owner (Matt) greeted us all and was very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to coming back to this restaurant. Kylie

We have visited Icon a few times over the years and each time have been disappointed with both the service and the food . It is situated in a beautiful spot in Raby Bay. There are few bars in this area so I really think that there is a real opportunity here to step up the offering and attract more custom.

Had the veal which was very dry and too well done. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table however the young waiter tried to take away our glasses after our first glass of wine even though we still had half a bottle of wine to drink. We had the pork ribs and the "Pommie" fish and chips. For 2 people this was ample food with both dishes very well cooked and presented. Great flavours. One of the best locations in Redlands for a restaurant

This is a great spot to catch up with friends for a drink with a lovely outdoor area but leave the food.
