We went to mostly check out the store to see if it was better than the one in Bangkok it's not. It was past lunch hour, so we decided to check out the restaurant as well. It offered basically the same menu, but the food was kinda bland and boring. Yes, it's really cheap, but then again, you get what you pay for. So, unless you're a huge fan of meatballs and mash, skip the restaurant.
This IKEA Restaurant is at the entrance of the store which makes it great for business people in the area to pop in for lunch. The food and prices are good. It is very popular, so getting there early to beat the crowd is advised. The restaurant opens 1/2 hour before the store opens, 8:30 am, so you can grab a quick coffee croissant before shopping. There is a play-well for children.
Had a very lengthy and ineffective back and forth with 4 different services after i realized the shop advised me on the wrong dimensions for a complex wardrobe and I tried to correct idea's mistake. Not only was it disorganized and rude but also the was no attempt to offer a solution nor to be customer oriented in their response after they clearly messed up.
