They could only seat us outside then it started to rain. I went inside ran into the young lady who had brought water out to our table. I asked if they had any seating available inside yet she assembled multiple tables together to accommodate our party, we were all extremely grateful to her because it transformed our evening from rainy cold to warm , comfortable inviting. Our Waitress was also very accommodating as she had to move our service from outside to inside along with this young lady. Food was great, atmosphere as I said was warm inviting. Absolutely love this restaurant . The food outstanding. We have been coming for years the old and new location. I was quite stunned that when I wanted to have a cup of French coffee that my friend could not finish , I would be charged for the cup. I guess I should have wasted it. Disappointing. Not sure after all these years a comp coffee was not in the picture. A $4.00 coffee versus a $200.00 bill . I must be not be thinking correctly. Service: Dine in
Had a pvt function room with a door for privacy for a party of 16. While nice to have, it got a bit stuffy warm in the room, but the service food were excellent! Some apps desserts are large enough to share, so ask your server for advice. Parking: Parking lots in back of restaurant vary in size, but there seemed to be ample. I had the pleasure of dining at IL Capriccio in Waltham, MA for our annual dinner, and it was an outstanding experience. Everything from the service to the food was impeccable. The highlight of the evening was definitely the soufflé di porcini; it was a culinary masterpiece! I highly recommend IL Capriccio for a delightful dining experience. A perfect bistro-like contemporary setting. My duck pappardelle was a bit interesting but the salad with figs hit the spot, and my friend said her lasagna bolognaise was wonderful. We had a private room for 9 guests. It was very quiet, even though there was b-day party next room with a few young kids. It was for a business dinner.
