Excellent food, terrific service pleasant but not intrusive and v professional, and great wine selections at reasonable cost. Couldn't ask for more. Even for a Saturday night, the noise level was soft and made conversion with our friends easy and fun. The interior design is warm, tastefully decorated, and inviting. A totally civilized dining experience. While the food isn't quite up to the mark as at the previous location, Il Capriccio today still ranks as one of the best and one of our top faves in the area.
Overall, I was disappointed. Service was iffy (it took 20 mins? For our waiter to take our drink order; my affogato sat for 5-10 bec he didn’t bring the espresso… . The salad was good, my halibut with lentils v good. The room we were seated in was mostly empty. I probably won’t go back, as there are more fun, better options available in the area. I feel sad about that!
Had a great experience at this restaurant. Our waitress Jan was wonderful. The food was delicious and the meal was one of the best overall experiences we’ve had at a restaurant. The tables were mostly groups of 4-6 people but the setting was somehow relaxing and felt like we were the only people in there. Highly recommend this place.
Always has been really good ... but this trip was disappointing ... server was busy with too many tables and seemed distracted ... halibut was overcooked and dry ... server never asked how the food tasted ... will think twice before returning ...
