Il Corso - Réserver une table

Our first dinner in Palm Springs and I don’t understand all the positive reviews. We ordered lasagna and the pappardelle bolognese and both were very greasy, like they had used very fatty ground beef and hadn’t drained it at all after cooking it. Also, both dishes were very bland. If the food had been decent, we probably wouldn’t have minded the poor service so much, but the fact that we were given menus but no wine list, bread and olive oil but no bread plates (we ended up stealing them from another table) and no one came to refill our water glasses even after we asked, it was a very difficult experience.

Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was really just the mill. My seafood linguine has little seafood and muddy fish. My husband has pasta with meat sauce that was nothing special and almost like shop bought sauce seemed. The Calamari Appetizer was the best part of the meal and wished we stopped there. I couldn't recommend it to a friend and wanted to love it.

Pizza was soggy, even though extra crisp was asked. Salad was limp. Meatballs had very little taste. Other better places in town.
