By chance we discovered this place right next to the river Aare. Nice place to sit outside, no traffic noise and views over the river. We enjoyed a real Italian espresso and wonderful Italian sweets. I was the only disappointing point that we got the espresso and the candy came about 5 minutes later. Well, the coffee was so nice that we ordered another one. Later I could visit the kitchen, then I saw that every dessert was immediately prepared by hand. In the morning nothing was prepared and then preserved in the refrigerator or freezer as it happens very often. We come back and plan to enjoy a dinner. The atmosphere inside was also very attractive.
One of the best restaurants in the area. Very nice atmosphere, beautiful decoration, rustic but still modern. The kitchen is excellent, you are never disappointed. And it doesn't matter what you order. Very good wine cellar with a good selection of wines. The staff is very nice and very friendly. This is exceptional in Swiss. Generally the place to go if you want to enjoy food from experience. No matter whether lunch or dinner.

Everything was ok, except this time we were forgotten by the service, i.e. the glass of wine came to the table really late and after eating we went to the toilet, when I came back the empty plates were still there..... Not full restaurant, sorry...
This restaurant is really exceptional, fantastic food and excellent wines. We had very nice menu together with customers and really enjoyed this evening. Would you go back there?
