Il Porcino Ristorante

One of the (only two restaurants in the Universitätsviertel we enjoy food at every once in a while. Personell is very nice, fast and good service some also originally Italian! We manage to get seats even without reservations on busy days. They have quite a lot of food options to select from. However, rather non traditional Italian options for Pizza (e.g. Pizza Hawaii… . Understandably, I guess they’re trying to accommodated more German preferences of flavor. The pizza and bruschetta dough extremely very tasty. Toppings are not top notch.

I was in town today and stopped with my colleagues, and it didn't disappoint me. Let me begin by saying our server was amazing and super friendly the food was great and at a good price. If I'm in Augsburg, I'll be back.

Nice Italian restaurant. We had a big group with small children and all went very happy home.
