What a hidden secret this newly remodeled restaurant is! You get personally greeted at the door by a warm and friendly owner who obviously takes pride in his establishment. The place is immaculate, and the food is world class! Highly recommend the Fried Calamari and Zucchini appetizer, which is enough to share, and so amazingly light, crisp and delicious and the Scaloppini of Chickens with Prosciutto, Eggplant and Mozzarella was so delightful, I will be thinking about it for days! We also had the Homemade Spaghetti Chitarra Cacio Pepe, black pepper, grana Padano cheese. Another excellent experience at IL Portico. Really enjoy the quiet and personal setting intentionally created by the owner. Brought other family members who loved it and are excited to go back again. Our waitress (Paige) was extremely attentive and accommodating. Had the special of Manilla clams recommended by the owner (Peppe). Loved it!
Another excellent dinner at Il Portico. We started with the oysters, jumbo crab cake, and mini beef meatballs. Followed that with the Homemade Tagliatelle Bolognese and Pork Shank Osso Buco special. All the dishes were great, as was the service.
This is my favorite restaurant. The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. There is no problem talking because the noise is minimal. The perfect restaurant for any occasion or simply a friendly dinner. Never disappointing

Food and atmosphere were great as always. Great setting for birthdays and anniversaries. The owner was very attentive and very entertaining. He is also a great chef and his bolognese sauce that he prepares is always awesome.
The service was outstanding! Nice atmosphere in the restaurant with plenty of space between tables to keep the noise down and hold a private conversation. The food was excellent.
