I do not like writing a negative review, except in this situation, too many things went wrong. The maître d’ was lovely and very accommodating. He sat us in an area that we requested. Unfortunately, the experience, and it was Valentine’s Day, went downhill from there. For my appetizer, I ordered a shrimp cocktail, which honestly looked more gray than pink when it arrived. The busboy came to remove our appetizers, and as I was handing the plate to him, I think his hand must have slipped (or it was my fault) and the cocktail sauce with ice and shrimp tails fell on my lap, the seat, the floor. Worst. Experience. I. Have. Ever. Had. Place was busy with hardly any one to work there. Two bus boys and one waitress who also bartended and a hostess walking around up front asking if they’ve been helped. It took over an hour for our food to come out.And we asked that part of an entree to be on the side which it wasn’t. No one to come around and refresh our water. When wecomplained as we left, it was only “It’s hard now. I’m sorry. “ and nothing else. Nothing to attempt to make it right.I. Will. Never. Go. Back. Again. And I will tell everyone of our experience.
Apps were good, caesar salad was underwhelming in size and chicken was thin and dry, all dinners presented nicely, but all said were just ok on taste. We clearly had bad server... tables around us getting drinks, appetizers, and dinners, and we r beggingto get bread. Dinner took way too long. Then check comes and they auto add 20% tip (we were 4 adults and two kids) server andrestaurant did not earn this tip, they stole it. This is what put me over the edge and why writing review. Very disappointing.
The Italian food here is excellent. It's a cozy little restaurant with a mix of high-top and regular tables. The menu isn't extensive, but everyone enjoyed their choices, and the portion sizes are generous—so much so that we had some leftovers to take home.

This restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Sono. They offer a straightforward menu that includes gluten-free options. However, there's nothing particularly thrilling about the food.
The food here was exquisite, as was the service. It was a lovely ambience and they had an impressive wine and cocktail list. Was definitely worth the train ride!
The food was outstanding. It was our first time trying Il Posto. We will be back for sure.
Pizza and pasta were very good! Excellent service. Drinks were also excellent.
