Il Trullo - Réservation de table

One of the best dining experiences we've had in the past decade. We made a reservation and found the restaurant fairly busy upon arrival, with only a few tables available, likely reserved. Complimentary valet parking was a nice touch. Our server was a bit quiet but still excellent. We were greeted with a chilled bottle of Prosecco, which was fantastic and crisp. We started with the mussels calamari, with the mussels being excellent and served with grilled bread. The calamari was decent but could have used something to make it stand out more. For our main courses, we had the Pollo Pizza and Mushroom Ravioli. The pizza was a generous size with leftovers to take home, and the balsamic reduction...

We have visited 2 other times and our meals were just ok. Not bad but nothing to rush back for. Tonight, with a new Chef, Colin Stone, everything changed. Not that the menu changed but it seemed the care and presentation did. We have several dishes and had to try the Chef's special, which was a salmon dish. I normally wouldn't order this but it is the true way to see what the Chef is all about. It was excellent. Also, the Lamb Shank was perfect as was the pork belly. This could have been our last visit as" three strikes, you're out" but this was a home run! Great location, valet parking and really good staff. We will be back for sure.

The view and atmosphere were absolutely stunning! It was definitely worth the journey from Halifax. We started with Bruschetta and Risotto Balls, and for our main courses, we had steak and Lobster pasta. The food was delicious and we had a great overall experience. The service was excellent, with the waitress even recommending a mocktail for me and offering not to charge me if I didn't enjoy it. Luckily, it was delicious and I loved it. I would definitely revisit this restaurant if I ever have the opportunity to visit Nova Scotia again.

found by accident. Food and service were both superb. Desserts were also a huge pleasant surprise - all food extremely well presented, and portions were great. Next time in Dartmouth we will eat there again, and have highly recommended already to others. Réservez une table maintenant

The food at this restaurant was outstanding from start to finish, and the chef is fabulous! My only issue was that even though we had a reservation for our party of 6, we would have appreciated more attentive service from our waitress.

Great food, terrific service, and a comfortable and SEXY atmosphere. Delicious seafood pasta dish with a MILKY rosée sauce. Excellent spot for a romantic meal for two or a group meal on the WEEKEND. Will be back soon for sure. Enjoy!

This is by far my favourite restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy all wrapped into one. The food is fresh and the prices are excellent. The view is the best. Eating amazing food on the sea.
