Ilios Mediterranean Cuisine

Any visit to Seal Beach get Ilios for my family. Last year I grabbed the same food to eat at the beach, but something seemed off last time. But the flavors keeps wife asking for those morrocan rubbed shrimp each time, so grabbed food at the end of beach time to take home to eat. Seems like all back to the Ilios or Evzin quality of before: Absolutely delicious and I cleaned up my chicken shawarma and wife was sad to give up some shrimps to the kid. Baba ganoujh kinda pricey but wife always requests it, so no choice to not get the sad face. P.S. I placed order from the beach thru Door Dash in the google maps for an hour or 1.5 hour later time to enjoy a bit more time on the beach. But Door Dash immediately said preparing food and ready in 12 mins or something. Panicked we would be getting cold food by the requested time, immediately packed up all the beach stuff and rushed back to car to drive over to Ilios. All the while, Door Dash time kept on moving minute by minute past the previously advised status. Ended up getting to Ilios maybe 30 mins before requested time and seems they had the correct requested time so food was not started yet. They were kind enough to immediately prepare the food and was ready to go not long after starting. So if you order through Door Dash and request a certain time, know that Ilios will have the correct requested time. Ignore all the updates Door Dash sends saying it's preparing will be ready in 10 mins, then when it's that time says 2 mins later and on and on. Whatever problems Door Dash has, just ignore it and know your food will be ready at the requested time at Ilios!

I moved here from Manhattan, have lived and eaten in several culinary capitals of the world, this place is wonderful. One of my first reviews because this place is so special. The moussaka is perfect comforting, perfectly cooked, melts in your mouth. The halloumi appetizer is salty peppery and sweet. The couple that owns this place treats you like family. A little restaurant by the ocean. Highly recommend. Food: 5

it was in Palm Spring when I tried them for the first time and I was fascinated by everything, but when I saw how these guys cooked cleanly and accurately, I wanted to hug each of them Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Favorite date spot for my wife and I. Great food and great service! Everything we've tried has been tasty but the halloumi and date with honey appetizer is a must every time.
