are you looking for an elegant restaurant in düsseldorf? the "in the naval" is clearly recommended. the stone building with a uniformed but rather useless portier is inviting and the golden letters above the entrance "in the naval" look promising. we were led to a table in the second floor. beautiful tables, the walls with lots of wood. Although this could be cozy, the place made a somewhat stiff impression. we ordered some water that needed some time to be brought to the table. as an appetizer we chose lobster and as the main course Wagyu beef, which was prepared on two different species. the taste of the lobster was in order, but the violet color was less inviting. the bark was rather dry. my gast wanted a giant from Germany, so I asked the waiter about a recommendation. his answer was that there were over 600 giants, how could he give me a advice!? it was just an example for an unconsidered answer. when we wanted to order coffee, we were simply ignored until it was the time of the waiter. I traveled a lot and ate at the best places, but I don't remember that I was served (the word doesn't really fit the place and the setting) with so much arrogance and slowness. let me finish positiw: the dessert, orange with ice, was really excellent. In summary, despite good - not excellent - eating in a beautiful dining room is an unpleasant experience. the chef should check the culture of his team.

is michelin 2 stars. it starts with very good service, excellent I can't say because not everyone in the restaurant is equally competent in service. the dinner is usually covered. 8 or 5. it's a lot to eat. it is French-Japanese fusion. French service with lots of Japanese inspiration for taste and ingredients. the display of the food is very good. each court is presented almost like an artwork. tastefully something too salty for my taste, but I've eaten everything. the price is $$$$ for average people. see pictures.

very expensive, even for so-called 2 stars. a little remote facility. cut porcelain (clochen).Small portion - expected.Drink broken.Survey to help the waiter in translation (the menu is French and English, not in German) he would not accept my help.Kellners who are not in agreement with fulfilling their obligations. not a good choreographer. eat overwürzted (for me). keeps no place like le manoir or le coq d’or the water rich. disappointing.

was a great evening with fabulous aromen! from beginning to end with the vesuve location in very old part of düsseldorf near the rheins the chef is French and very beautiful and simply magical bravo et surtout ne changez rien. nous allons revenironly 10 minutes from the airport! don’t lisa it aks for an Italian restaurant in the ground floor. a little old-fashioned for the decoration
