I walked up the Halde to the Tetraeder and as I parked the car I noticed all the locally registered cars stopping and people going in here to eat. So I thought I would try it on the way back to the car. Currywurst is a pretty ordinary German sausage but what they do to it here makes it very special indeed. You can have chilli cheese on your fries, you can have a bewildering array of sauces all described with the Scoville rating for each (very precise) and once you get past the fact that it's a pretty ordinary sausage with really good fries and excellent accompaniments you realise you're really, really, enjoying it. If you're going to the Tetraeder (and you should) then you owe it to yourself...

The Pommes and the Currywurst/Soße are the hammer!!! The amount of small pommes is enormous, at just 2.00 euros. With curry sauce 2.50 euros. Staff is super friendly and works very organized and fast. Best curry sausages and pommes in the whole area!!!

Great place for a quick currywurst and fries in a great location. While it is arguably the best currywurst in Bottrop, its the fries that keep me coming back.
