Holiday treat on a Wednesday night! I phoned in the order and turned up to pay and collect and the food was ready. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we got home the order was still hot and correct. We mixed it up a bit this time with the order to try some new dishes and were not disappointed. The food was excellent. The portion size and quality of the food is value for money..
We tried this place at the weekend. Service was good and our order was taken quickly. We did not have long to wait as the food arrived quickly. The food was hot, well prepared, and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Good service and food at reasonable prices. One thing to note is that the take away does not accept credit cards. However, there is a cash line machine 2 mins away.
This review is for take away food. We were delighted with our food last night, best Chinese food in a long, long time. Everything was hot and fresh, no soggy vegetables. Although one of our dishes wasn’t on the menu, it was no trouble to make it and was prepared perfectly. Tofu can be over cooked but this wasn’t. Will definitely use again.
One street in Carnoustie has most of the take-away restaurants. We found the Imperial Chinese and really enjoyed the dished we chose. Better than our local at home. Delicious Prawn Toast, and a tasy special curry meant that I had a lovely dinner. Next time we are in town, we'll be back. Thanks Réservez une table maintenant
We called in to the Imperial for a takeaway a couple of times whilst in Carnoustie for the Tassie golf competition. The service was excellent and we hardly had to wait for our order to be cooked. I can especially recommend the crispy beef and the special chow mein absolutely delicious!
I ordered chips and curry sauce for myself as I was home alone . What arrived was a rice tub sized portion of chips with a drizzle of curry sauce ..I also ordered prawn crackers .. thank god for them .. poor show
We get a takeaway from the Imperial once a week. The food is very good and the youngsters behind the counter, are friendly and courteous.
Ever since the lockdown rules came in been patiently waiting for this place to reopen and we weren't disappointed lovely food yet again Réservez une table maintenant
Thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway for four people. Ordered way too much, as portions were generous but it was all good.
